Hello
Thank you to everyone who provided delicious food and/or came to help at our Harvest party. It was so much fun! The kids enjoyed it so much that during our sharing circle on Friday, each one of them said it was their favorite part of the week.
This week we are focusing on the letter 'N'. Please reinforce the sound the letter 'N' makes and point it out everywhere you can. This really helps solidify the information being taught at school.
Homework
Here is the list of tasks to be completed this week. Please space out the activities throughout the week. The homework is meant to be done in small chunks throughout the week. Remember to return the homework folder on Friday.
1. Choose 3-4 activities from the November calendar
2. Make a collage/draw pictures of things that begin with 'N' in the yellow book
3. Complete the 'N' page in the handwriting book
4. Read 10 minutes a night and fill out the reading log
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Conferences are this week! If you have forgotten your scheduled time, you can call the office. I look forward to talking with you this week!
Natural Bridges
We will be going on a field trip to Natural Bridges on Wednesday, November 14th to see the butterflies! We will be leaving school at 10:15am and returning to school around 1:30pm. The cost of the trip is $1 for students only. Please send in the payment by Friday, November 9th. The students will need a sack-lunch, as we will be eating our lunch at Natural Bridges after our tour.
Thanksgiving Feast- Date Change!
Our Thanksgiving Feast will be held on Tuesday, November 20th. I will be posting a sign-up sheet of food items that we will need later this week.
