Hello

I can't believe it's already December!  I hope you all survived and enjoyed our beautiful, rainy weekend!
Our class will be participating in chapel on Monday, December 10th at 2:25pm.  The kids will sing a couple songs and then Adam Nigh will give a little talk.  You are very welcome to come watch if you are available!

This week we are focusing on the letter 'F'.  Please reinforce the sound the letter 'F' makes and point it out everywhere you can.  This really helps solidify the information being taught at school.

Homework

Here is the list of tasks to be completed this week.  Please space out the activities throughout the week.  The homework is meant to be done in small chunks throughout the week.  Remember to return the homework folder on Friday.

1. Choose 3-4 activities from the December calendar

2. Make a collage/draw pictures of things that begin with 'F' in the yellow book

3. Complete the 'F' page in the handwriting book

4. Read 10 minutes a night and fill out the reading log
5. Practice your child's play lines!!!

Christmas Play

Our class will be putting on a little Christmas production on Friday, December 21st from 1:30-2 and then we will be coming back to class to ring in the Christmas holiday with a gingerbread house making celebration.  I have posted a sign-up sheet on Shutterfly for the items needed. 

The script of the play is being sent home in the folder this week.  Your child's part has been highlighted.  Please practice their lines as well as the lines that come before them so they know when to speak. 

Jog-a-thon

On Friday, December 14th, our class will be running in the jog-a-thon from 8:45-8:55am.  Come on out to the gym to see the kids dash around to raise money for our school!
